WOODTURNINGS

Many of my pieces are “constructed” from several types of wood, or incorporate architectural materials such as concrete and metal.  Here I focus on how the shapes, textures and colors of the materials compliment each other to form a sculptural whole.  Others pieces emphasize the shape of the piece and the special color, texture and grain of the wood.   Very subtle changes in the form occur as the piece is turned and its shape emerges.
